Yeah, If the VGCP, EDCP, UTTP, and NDCP never existed, GoAnimate would have been a normal site.
I honestly believe that G!A went downhill all thanks to HTML5 if you want my honest opinion.

By a normal site, without grounded videos, the only videos users can come up with are web series, tips, music videos, and other related videos. If anyone understood that grounded videos can potentially shut GoAnimate down nowadays, if the "GoCreate" site I thought of back then came, then these users could make any video that is not related to grounded videos, in order to not shut down the site. I could see that happening.

That was one of the reasons why I left GoAnimate, and I agree. With HTML5, some GoAnimate fans (users that are in the same community as the 'Cartoon Police' organizations and the former 'Good Users' and 'Bad Users') act immature and blame Alvin Hung for the changes done to GoAnimate (and especially GoAnimate for Schools, the last time the 'non-business themes' were included before their final expiration two months ago) since two years ago (literally, two years ago from now was a day a feature was removed from GoAnimate, which was the ability to comment as a basic user, and also the day Domo Animate, a site I was last on three years ago, shut down), which some of us know. As mature users, we support Alvin with his concern against GA's community.

To me, it wasn't because of the immature users, it was because of the non-business themes retiring if you want my POV (point of view) on it.

When the non-business themes retired eight months ago, making videos had me use the Business Friendly theme, which I was okay with. That theme, it was realistic compared to Comedy World, and like the Lil' Peepz theme, except in a real person style and designed for businesses, instead of creativity and adventure. Without Comedy World nor Lil' Peepz on my side, I felt fine, compared to the worries and sorrow of others. Even on New Year's Day 2016 at midnight (after New Year's Eve 2015), I made my first Business Friendly avatar to 'prep myself' for the 'non-business themes' removal. Later, on January 5th, after finding out that the non-business themes were eventually removed, I then remade a few Comedy World stock characters (including the main ones) with the theme, along with a few other characters (including fictional ones) that I previously made with the Comedy World theme. I find it odd that they weren't removed the previous day, which they were supposed to. That may be the same case as the Free Trial expiration for basic users on November 25th the past year, expiring on November 26th instead. Like a month after the themes expired, I felt like running out of ideas on videos and left GoAnimate, thinking in what else to make in the future. Those were the last days I made videos in GoAnimate.

I decided to leave G!A as well, but I immediately decided not to.
At least we've got the Character Creator on Wix, right?
Speaking of the character creators, a month after the non-business themes retired, a fellow of mine posted codes for the non-business themes that Tigrus879 extracted to be tested on an HTML code tester, on my old account's message wall. I was pleased with it, and the only characters I made the day it was posted were GA original characters (e.g. troublemakers, parents) in the opposite facial feature style (e.g. Old Comedy World-styled characters in the new style). The days after, whatsoever I found out that it didn't work. And also, could you give me the link to the character creators on Wix? I have never heard until now.
